About the Company
Our client is a growing business in the environmental services/construction space, experiencing strong momentum and expanding their internal finance function. With continued growth, they are now seeking to bring on a Financial Accountant to establish more robust processes and provide technical accounting support.

The Opportunity
This is a newly created permanent role, ideal for someone looking to take ownership in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You’ll be stepping into a business where finance has been managed by a combination of operational staff and bookkeepers, and where your input will help shape the function moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of financial reports and month-end close
• Manage BAS statements and payroll in-house
• Support day-to-day finance operations, including reconciliations
• Act as the finance point of contact for internal stakeholders
• Assist with implementing better processes and reporting structures

• Previous experience in a hands-on Financial or Management Accountant role
• Background in construction, environmental services, or similar fast-paced sectors preferred
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards
• MYOB experience desirable
• Minimum 3 years accountant experience
