This is a 12-month contract and will see you stepping into a critical role within the finance function.
The Role
You will be responsible for the organisation’s treasury and cash management requirements, ensuring the business maintains strong financial control. The role involves monitoring bank balances, managing shortfalls, and optimising the use of funds across accounts. You will liaise directly with financial institutions, manage term deposits, and facilitate transfers as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash requirements and recommend account movements to cover shortfalls
- Complete BAS statements and maintain asset registers
- Manage bank accounts, term deposits, and treasury transfers
- Liaise with financial institutions to ensure efficient fund management
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on cash positions and treasury activity
- Assist the wider finance team with system and process improvements
- Experience using TechnologyOne (Desirable)
- Strong treasury or cash management background
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working in a small team environment
- Proactive, detail-focused and adaptable to change
