We're recruiting an Administrative Support Officer to join a busy, high-performing team within a major NSW Government department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and adaptable admin professional to step into a broad support role with great exposure across multiple divisions.
You'll be based out of Orchard Hills, at the organisation's Training Academy – a customer-facing environment. There's the flexibility to work hybrid(minimum 3 days in office, 2 from home once trained).
The Role: Working as part of a friendly team, you’ll provide ongoing administrative support to the internal group. Duties will include:
- Raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and budget tracking
- Supporting daily operations and ensuring timely delivery of reporting requirements
- Managing correspondence, maintaining records, and coordinating meetings and sessions
- Handling general inquiries and occasional front-of-house reception coverage
- Supporting wider business unit activities as required
- Strong admin experience, ideally within government or large organisations
- Great attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Confidence using technology and systems (e.g. MS Office, record management tools)
