    The Role

    This 3-month contract  with the possibility of extending will be suitable for an  immediately available  or soon to be immediately available Accounts Payable & Payroll Admin, who will report directly to the Finance Manager.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Assist with the preparation and processing of accounts payable payments.
    • Support the finance team by reviewing invoices for accuracy and ensuring proper approvals are in place before payment.
    • Maintain accurate AP records and assist with basic reconciliations and follow-up with suppliers where needed.
    • Review and verify employee timesheets, ensuring accurate hours and appropriate approvals before payroll processing.
    • Monitor and update employee leave balances, including annual, personal, and long service leave.
    • Assist with maintaining employee records, including onboarding, changes to details, and terminations.
    • Help prepare payroll documentation and reports to support the payroll function.
    • Respond to basic payroll and payment-related queries from employees and vendors.
    • Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality when handling financial and employee information.
    • Provide general administrative support to the finance and HR teams as required.

    Skills and Experience:
    • 1-2 years' experience within a commercial business. 
    • Experience using large systems.
    • Experience with employment hero (advantageous) 
    • Intermediate excel skills. 
    • Exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to work autonomously. 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
