We’re partnering with a global technology group to appoint a Part-Time Finance Manager for their fast-growing APAC operations. With flexible working arrangements and a supportive regional leadership team, this role offers the rare opportunity to step into a high-impact finance position on a long-term, part-time basis.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Director and partnering closely with the overseas based Group Finance team, you will lead the finance function for the region – owning everything from day-to-day transactional processing to strategic budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
This is a standalone role suited to a commercially minded and hands-on finance professional looking to contribute meaningfully within a dynamic and globally connected environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial operations including payroll, billing, AR/AP, month-end close and compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning for the region
- Deliver monthly financial reporting, P&L and variance analysis
- Manage international chargebacks and intercompany reporting
- Liaise with external tax advisers and auditors as needed
- Act as the key finance point of contact for regional and global stakeholders
- CPA/CA qualified with a strong foundation in financial and management accounting
- Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager or senior finance role, ideally within a consulting, services or tech environment
- Skilled in Xero highly beneficial, but not required
- Confident working within a group structure, including FX, consolidations and management reporting
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Highly flexible working – approx. 2.5 days/week with autonomy over schedule
- Role is Brisbane-based but can be primarily WFH
