A well-established, global business based in North Ryde is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team on a temp-to-permanent basis. This is a broad, hands-on role offering genuine exposure across financial reporting and analysis within a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
The Role
Reporting into experienced finance professionals, you will take ownership of key processes from day one while contributing to a range of reporting, reconciliation, and analysis activities across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting month-end reporting and reconciliation processes
- Preparing and distributing financial reports to internal stakeholders
- Conducting inventory analysis and investigating stock variances with operational teams
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies across multiple ERP systems
- Liaising with operational staff and acting as a key finance contact for business queries
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Supporting internal and external audit processes
- Providing ad-hoc analysis and reporting to the wider finance team
- Experience in an accounting or finance role, whether in industry or practice
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills — essential for this position
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical with a high level of attention to detail
- Working towards or holding a CPA/CA qualification
