About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Billings Officer to manage the end-to-end billing process for new, current, and discharged residents. As the central point of contact for billing matters, you’ll support both internal teams and external stakeholders while ensuring billing accuracy and timeliness.
This role is based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement—two days in the office and three days from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily admissions, discharges, and billing for residents.
- Conduct fortnightly and monthly billing runs and support month-end reconciliations.
- Prepare Fee and RAD/Bond refunds and respond to ad-hoc billing queries.
- Act as the primary contact for all billing-related matters.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience in an aged care or healthcare billing environment (desirable).
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Epicor is an advantage.
