  • We're working exclusively with a high-growth alternative fintech lender on a search for a Chief Commercial Officer. This is a senior leadership role for a business that is well established in the market, operates nationally, and is entering its next phase of growth.

    The Business
    Founded by an experienced leadership team with decades of shared history, this is a well-backed alternative fintech lender operating in the working capital space supporting Australian businesses. The business has built strong momentum through its multichannel strategy, from an expansive finance broker network to co-branded partners. It is founded on strong governance principles, shared values and a commitment to ensuring business owners across Australia have access to funding solutions that support them and their businesses.

    The Role
    This is a newly created CCO position reporting directly to the CEO. You will own the commercial strategy end to end, with a focus on accelerating growth across all sales channels, aggregators and partner networks, including building out a national sales function.

    Key priorities in the first 12 months:
    • Drive channel growth, increase wallet share and develop new aggregator and partner relationships
    • Build, lead and manage a national sales team with state-based hires across the country
    • Increase application volume and quality to support lending targets
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to align the business around commercial outcomes
    What We're Looking For
    • Proven sales leadership background with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
    • Experience in alternative lending, cashflow finance or working capital solutions strongly preferred
    • Strong understanding of the finance broker network including aggregators
    • Equally comfortable setting strategy and getting hands dirty commercially
    • Brisbane based preferred, open to Sydney
