Job Description:

  • Key leadership role with a leading Australian health and lifestyle brand
  • Strategic CFO position driving performance and business growth
  • Lead finance, commercial and systems transformation across the group
  • About the Company

Lite n’ Easy is a proudly Australian-owned business committed to helping Australians live healthier, longer lives through great food and outstanding service. With a well-established national presence and fully integrated manufacturing and distribution operations, Lite n’ Easy is a trusted and familiar name in homes across the country.

As the business continues its strong trajectory of growth and innovation, the CFO will play a pivotal role in guiding the organisation through its next phase. This includes enabling scale, unlocking commercial opportunities, and enhancing decision-making across a complex, vertically integrated operation.

Perigon Group is exclusively partnering with Lite n’ Easy in this executive search.

    About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and forming part of the Executive Leadership Team, the CFO will lead the Finance function with a strong focus on strategic planning, commercial performance, and operational effectiveness.
This is a broad and hands-on role, covering financial control, reporting, budgeting, analysis, compliance, and systems improvement. As a key business partner across the organisation, the CFO will bring financial acumen, commercial insight, and a pragmatic, service-oriented approach to leadership.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead, develop and support a high-performing Finance team with a strong culture of accountability and collaboration
    • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis
    • Drive financial strategy aligned to the business’ long-term goals and operational priorities
    • Provide meaningful insights and financial modelling to support decision-making across the executive team
    • Oversee compliance, tax, payroll, governance and financial risk management
    • Partner with commercial and operational leaders to improve margin, efficiency, and cost outcomes
    • Lead finance transformation projects, including system upgrades (ERP) and automation
    • Maintain a robust internal control environment and support continuous improvement initiatives across the group
    • Lead the development and oversight of ESG reporting frameworks to meet evolving regulatory and stakeholder expectations.
    About You

You’re a commercially minded senior finance executive who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally complex business. With strong technical foundations and broad experience in senior finance roles, you know how to drive outcomes, influence across a business, and lead with a people-focused approach.
    You’ll bring:
    • CA or CPA qualification with deep technical accounting knowledge
    • At least 10 years’ experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally with time as a Financial Controller or CFO
    • Background in FMCG, food manufacturing, or similarly fast-paced, customer-led environments
    • Exposure to Big 4 or top-tier chartered environments early in your career (preferred)
    • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide clear insights and strategic advice
    • Experience leading systems or process improvement, including ERP or finance transformation projects
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • A collaborative and down-to-earth leadership style
