In this role you will work on key projects with high profile clients. You will be responsible for the provision of tax services to both internal and external clients, including managing client’s tax queries and deliverables.
Your team provides taxation services, including distribution and tax returns for Investment Manager clients. Clients include large fund managers and superannuation funds based in Australia as well as other locations.
Your focus will be heavily focused on the tax tasks:
- Deliver a full range of tax services and reporting to internal and external client, including review of supplementary tax reporting.
- Liaise with clients on their tax reporting requirements and tax queries
- Build and maintain internal and external client relationships, acting as a subject matter expert for tax related queries
- Provide support on specific projects relating to clients, process improvements and product development
- Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with tax reporting and processes
- Share knowledge and actively develop self and others in the team
In this role, you will utilise your strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will also be required to provide support on a broad range of tax related projects and new product development.
To be considered, your career history covers:
- Solid years’ experience in tax, preferably gained in a custody, professional accounting or financial services environment
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or Masters of Tax is highly desirable
- Experience with Taxation of Financial Arrangements (TOFA) will be highly regarded
