This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, well-established financial services organisation as it delivers its first Climate Statements and related disclosures under the Corporations Act and AASB S2.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll lead the design, governance and delivery of sustainability reporting frameworks that will shape the organisation’s climate reporting capability for years to come. The role offers significant exposure across finance, risk and sustainability teams, as well as engagement with external auditors and regulators.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end preparation of Climate Statements and AASB S2 disclosures
• Coordinate data collection and validation across finance, risk and sustainability teams
• Establish internal controls and assurance processes for emissions and scenario analysis
• Integrate climate data into financial planning and reporting frameworks
• Liaise with auditors, regulators and consultants to ensure compliance and best practice

About You
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Sustainability (CA/CPA desirable)
• Strong understanding of AASB S2, TCFD and Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions reporting
• Proven experience preparing or assuring sustainability-related financial disclosures
• Strong analytical skills with Power BI and large datasets
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
