As our Commercial Analyst, you'll provide commercial and financial support across the business:
- Financial Reporting- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including month-end closings, actuals tracking, and rolling forecasts
- Variance Analysis- Conduct thorough variance analysis and present insights and trends to help drive strategic commercial decisions
- Budget Support- Collaborate with business stakeholders to prepare annual budgets, ensuring alignment with operational goals
- Feasibility Analysis- Prepare feasibility analysis for potential new opportunities, including revenue, cost and margin reviews
- Yield Analysis- Partner with commercial teams to perform yield analysis reporting, focusing on pricing strategies, service mix, volume trends, and efficiency improvements
- Capital Expenditure- Assist in the preparation and presentation of capital expenditure submissions aligned with business objectives
- Financial Modelling- Conduct ad-hoc financial modelling to explore revenue opportunities and identify cost management strategies
- Business Case Development- Provide support for innovation and transformational projects, including project briefs and business case development
- Process Improvement- Offer insights for continuous process and system improvements, focusing on automating reporting and enhancing efficiency
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting (CPA/CA progression highly regarded)
- 1-2 years' experience in a commercial analyst or similar role
- Financial modelling experience preferred
- Advanced MS Excel skills (essential)
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Anaplan or similar planning tools)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
