  • Are you a skilled pricing analyst with a keen eye for detail, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for optimising pricing strategies? If so, my client is looking to recruit within their Bid and Tenders team in Melbourne!

    About the Role
    As a Commercial/ Pricing Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our commercial team to achieve optimised price outcomes and returns. Reporting to the Pricing Manager, you'll contribute to pricing strategies for tenders and bids. 

    This role is an excellent opportunity to drive continuous improvement in pricing and finance systems, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the commercial team to optimise pricing strategies.
    • Ensure timely and compliant submission of pricing for tenders and bids.
    • Engage with internal stakeholders, including IT, to improve pricing and finance systems.
    • Provide support and advice on pricing processes, system capabilities, and rate management.
    • Assist in the annual price review process and maintain accurate client rate data.
    • Deliver a customer-focused service to both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Support adherence to finance policies and procedures to maximise commercial outcomes.
    What You Bring
    • Experience within an execution focussed analytical role, within pricing or commercial analysis experience.
    • Advanced financial modelling (excel) and analytical skills. (Essential)
    • Strong commercial awareness and exceptional communication skills.
    • High attention to detail and effective organisational abilities.
    • Self-motivated, thrives in fast-paced environments, and excels in managing multiple priorities.
