Our client is a very well-regarded organisation, who offer a range of critical community support services, and work hard to make a difference in times of need. They require a dynamic and skilled Credit Officer to join their team for a temporary basis with the potential to extend or go permanent in the future, immediate start required.
The Role
This 6
-month contract
will be suitable for an immediately available
or soon to be immediately available Credit Officer, who will report directly to the Senior Accountant. This role has the potential to be extended.
As the Credit Officer your duties will include -
- Prepare and issue accurate and timely invoices to clients
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue payments
- Maintain credit limits and assess credit risk
- Manage account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies
- Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure payment efficiency
- Generate regular reports on billing and credit performance
About You
- 1-2 years' experience within a commercial business.
- Experience using large systems.
- Intermediate experience with Excel
- Eager to learn.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
