Customer Service Administrator – 4–6 Week Temporary Role

Our client, a leading Australian manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join their head office team located onsite at their production facility. This role is available for an immediate start and will run for an initial 4–6 week temporary period while the permanent recruitment process is underway.
The Role
Working within a close-knit and fast-paced environment, you’ll provide administrative and customer service support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination across manufacturing and office operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing inbound customer calls, face to face customer service and email enquiries
- Processing orders, tracking deliveries, and updating systems
- Liaising with production and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely communication
- Maintaining customer records and documentation
- Supporting the broader team with administrative and reporting tasks as needed
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in customer service or administrative support (ideally within a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic setting
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using ERP or order management systems
- Immediate start – jump in and make an impact quickly
- 4–6 week temporary role – potential for extension or to apply for the permanent opportunity
- Onsite role – work closely with the operations and production team in a collaborative setting
