About the Opportunity
Join a leading medical education organisation during an exciting period of growth and transformation. Following the launch of their new website and learning platform, they are experiencing high volume demand and need a skilled Education Administration Officer to support a dynamic team.
The organisation specialises in training medical professionals in critical diagnostic and treatment skills, making a real difference to healthcare outcomes across Australia. This is your chance to contribute to meaningful work whilst gaining valuable experience in the medical education sector.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Course Management: Updating course content and materials on our new platform
- Database Administration: Maintaining accurate course and student data across our systems
- Student Support: Providing technical assistance to course participants using our online learning portal
- Assessment Monitoring: Tracking and reporting on assessment results for core courses
- Marker Coordination: Organising course markers, including invoicing and scheduling support
- Communications: Managing routine correspondence with students and course registrants
- System Support: Assisting with our Education and IT redevelopment projects
- Reporting: Providing data and reports to staff across the organisation
- Minimum 12 months' experience in education administration or similar role
- Strong Microsoft Suite skills with intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities
- Ability to design and maintain complex spreadsheets and utilise Excel macros
- Someone who can hit the ground running and work independently
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in medical or healthcare education environments hihgly regarded
- Background working with RTOs, universities, or similar educational institutions highly regarded
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- Adaptable and resilient in a changing environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
