Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team in a pivotal hybrid role that blends core financial accounting with strategic business partnering. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who combines strong technical accounting capabilities with a proactive, commercially focused mindset.
As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for delivering insightful financial analysis, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving financial performance across the business. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity and business alignment.
Some of your key duties will include, however may not be limited to;
- Prepare month-end journals and ensure accurate and timely recording of CoGS, revenue, and other critical data.
- Analyze asset performance, conduct variance analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Monitor receivables and manage asset-level cash flows to ensure adequate liquidity and financial health.
- Develop and update budgets and forecasts, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently across projects and business units.
- Deliver regular financial reports and actionable insights to guide performance improvement.
- Partner with senior leaders and operational teams to integrate financial insight into business strategy.
- Support the preparation of financial presentations and reports for executive and external stakeholders
- Adhoc duties as required
You will be degree qualified in Accounting/Finance, or a related field, with a CPA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred. You will have at least 5 years of experience in financial management—ideally in the energy or infrastructure sector—and a proven track record in finance business partnering. Strong technical skills in financial reporting, analysis, and software like Xero, Procore, and Excel are essential, along with the ability to clearly communicate complex financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
