The Role
You will provid financial advice, guide effective cost management, and ensure compliance with internal governance and external funding requirements. This is a hands-on and analytical role that would suit someone who enjoys partnering with non-financial stakeholders, delivering insights, and influencing strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert financial advice to project leaders and stakeholders, guiding decisions around cost management and utilisation of grant funding
- Contribute to the development and delivery of financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts across assigned business units
- Support the Senior Management Accountant with business case preparation and strategic financial analysis
- Ensure compliance through effective application of financial processes, governance frameworks, and risk management controls
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted financial partner and advisor
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CA/CPA qualification preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in a business partnering or management accounting role within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial information to non-financial audiences
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across projects or business units
