  • 4-6 month contract initially
  • Previous SAP integration/implementation experience advantageous
  • WFH flexibility, exposure to Retail sector preferred
  • Leading Retail group on the lookout for a Transition Project Manager to lead a critical system migration: moving from Global SAP environment to local environment.
     
    This role is central to ensuring business continuity, protecting data integrity, and keeping core finance and operational processes running flawlessly through the transition. You’ll coordinate technical teams, manage risks, communicate with the business, and keep the project moving with discipline and clarity.

    What You’ll Deliver
    • A full end-to-end transition plan with timelines, milestones and critical-path activities.
    • Process documentation across finance and related business functions (AP/AR, banking, GL, vendor management, controls).
    • Management of the SAP test environment — testing cycles, issue logs, defect resolution and process validation.
    • Support for data mapping and integration documentation across SAP and Envoy.
    • Impact assessments covering operational, finance and supplier impacts.
    • Robust risk and issue management with clear escalation and mitigation.
    • Strong stakeholder and vendor engagement, including workshops, reviews and sign-off.
    • Go-live readiness planning to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
    • Compliance and audit-ready documentation across all transition activities.
    To be considered for this role you will have:
    • 5+ years leading finance projects involving system integration or ERP transitions.
    • Strong working knowledge of SAP finance modules and integration touchpoints.
    • Hands-on experience with data mapping, system integration flows and test environment coordination.
    • Proven risk, governance and compliance management capability.
    • Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills — confident running workshops and driving accountability.
    • Excellent documentation and process-mapping ability.
    • Clear communicator, strong collaborator, decisive under pressure.
    • Problem solver who anticipates issues and keeps work moving.
