Perigon Group is currently recruiting an an exciting role for  Financial Accountant.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to broaden their expertise in a collaborative and fast-paced finance environment.

The Role

This is a hands-on role that will see you involved in a variety of core accounting and reporting responsibilities.

• Providing financial support to the finance team and internal stakeholders, including assistance with audits, external reporting, and ad hoc financial queries.
• Managing accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing, account reconciliation, and collaborating with account managers to resolve discrepancies.
• Overseeing expense claim and credit card reconciliation systems, including user management, final claim reviews, approval workflows, and ERP posting.
• Conducting daily bank and general ledger reconciliations, participating in month-end processes such as journal entries and balance sheet reviews.
• Supporting corporate services and capital spend processes, including purchase orders, asset register maintenance, capital WIP tracking, and preparation of BAS and FBT data.

• A background in financial accounting, preferably with experience in a corporate finance team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and Excel
• Confidence in reconciling general ledger accounts and managing end-to-end financial processes
