The Opportunity

A leading Australian entertainment company is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to broaden their expertise in a collaborative and fast-paced finance environment.

The Role

This is a hands-on role that will see you involved in a variety of core accounting and reporting responsibilities.

• Prepare year-end financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Support external audit requirements and liaise with auditors
• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve variances
• Prepare journals, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with tax compliance, including BAS, FBT and income tax
• Support ad hoc reporting and financial analysis requests

• Must be CA/CPA qualified
• Relevant experience within a commercial finance role
• Preferably someone from audit background with strong attention to details
• Excellent written and communications skills
