This progressive national health group, recognised as one of Brisbane’s leading companies, is looking for an experienced, technically strong accountant to support their team with additional work requirements.

The Role 

Working closely with the Corporate Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the month-end process, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy across ledgers. This short-term contract offers an opportunity to contribute your skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while gaining valuable exposure to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end financial reports and reconciliations
• Undertake variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
• Review and analyse divisional P&L results
• Compile working papers and assist with ad hoc reporting for executives
• Maintain accurate records across general ledger accounts

About You

• CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent) with several years’ experience in financial and management accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Proficient in Excel and experienced with ERP systems
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Confident communicator who can liaise across all levels of the business
