A well-established law firm has recently implemented a new finance system and requires an experienced accountant to take ownership of cleaning up and reconciling historical data. This is a standalone role where you’ll be responsible for reviewing several years of transactions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and reconcile historical financial data across multiple years
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between old and new systems
- Clean up ledgers and align balances post system migration
- Investigate variances and prepare adjustment journals
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to clarify transactions
- Ensure financial data integrity and reporting accuracy
- Solid experience in reconciliations and financial clean up work
- Legal experience essential
- Able to work independently and manage large data sets
