As Financial Controller, you will lead and develop a team responsible for all financial accounting, audit, tax, controls, statutory obligations and financial operations. You will ensure the delivery of accurate, timely and well-governed financials, while strengthening processes, improving systems and embedding efficiency and scalability across the function.
You’ll also play a key role in enhancing automation, upgrading processes, and improving the quality and clarity of financial information for the Board and executive team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys elevating a finance function and building strong foundations for growth.
You are a CA/CPA-qualified senior finance leader with 8+ years’ experience, including at least two years in a financial control leadership role. You bring strong technical expertise, have led Australian audits, and thrive in fast-paced, growing environments. A background in private equity, multi-site operations, education, or tech-enabled businesses is highly regarded, as is prior experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier chartered firm.
Your leadership capability and technical knowledge are matched by your appetite to initiate change and drive projects, such as systems migrations. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a leader who has a strong focus on personal development and team wellbeing.
