We’re currently supporting a leading global retailer to recruit an FP&A Analyst for their Melbourne office. The business continues to grow rapidly in the Australian market and offers excellent career development opportunities for driven and detail-oriented finance professionals. This role would suit someone with solid foundations in financial analysis and experience/understanding of the procurement function.
The Role
This is a permanent full-time role, working closely with both the FP&A and Procurement functions within the Finance team. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyse and compile financial data to support weekly/monthly reporting requirements
- Prepare profit and loss reports across stores and departments
- Deliver financial insights and analysis to support commercial decisions
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and planning cycles
- Coordinate cross-departmental procurement meetings and reviews of purchase documentation
- Track and follow up on approved purchases, outstanding POs, and supplier invoices
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Finance or related discipline
- Previous experience in an FP&A focused role
- Experience/exposure to the Procurement function is advantageous
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
