The Role:
Reporting into an experienced CFO, the FP&A Manager will lead a small team and provide strategic insights to aid informed decision-making for the betterment of the council. 
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Leading/managing the financial planning and performance analysis/reporting
- Leading budgeting/forecasting process and partnering with key stakeholders to align decisions with budgets
- Providing accurate reporting, financial modelling and analysis to executive leadership teams
- Supporting the CFO and wider finance team to contribute to system implementations, process improvements, and sustainability.
- Motivating and leading a small team of Management Accountants to ensure a positive outcome for the team

About You:
- CA/CPA qualified with experience in a similar FP&A position 
- Experience with local government finance
- Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
- Ability to lead a team and facilitate growth, learning and a positive culture
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
