As Governance Officer, you'll assist the Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel in providing governance and board support across multiple boards and committees within a growing investment business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling meetings, drafting agendas, and taking minutes
- Preparing board and committee papers, coordinating with report owners
- Developing and maintaining policies, procedures, charters, and governance registers
- Supporting annual review cycles and governance frameworks
- Facilitating ongoing board member training
- Managing company updates and general administrative tasks
- Assisting with various projects as they arise
About you
- Financial services experience, with exposure to governance highly advantageous
- Bachelor's degree or post-graduate qualifications in a relevant field preferred
- Good understanding of governance requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organised self-starter who can manage competing priorities
- Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Applications, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Exposure to funds management beneficial
