This newly created role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys both the technical side of finance and providing insights that influence commercial decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial and management reports
• Lead month-end close and reconciliation processes
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
• Oversee offshore finance team and coordinate deliverables
• Maintain and develop financial models, budgets, and rolling forecasts
• Assist with statutory reporting and support external audit processes
• Provide variance analysis and deliver commercial insights to the business
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making across departments

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• CA or CPA qualified (or working towards)
• Background in Chartered Accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) highly regarded, coupled with experience in a commercial accounting role
• Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and financial modelling
• Solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and tax obligations
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work across departments and meet deadlines
