    The Role

    This newly created role will lead and support finance compliance activities across a diverse, multi-brand environment. This is a role for a technically strong Group Tax Manager who thrives in complexity, enjoys driving process optimisation, and brings a proactive, solutions-focused approach. You will work closely with internal teams and external advisors to deliver high-quality compliance outcomes, enhance systems and automation tools, and champion best-practice standards across the group.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage timely and accurate preparation and lodgement of regulatory reporting requirements, including BAS, GST/VAT, PAYG I & PAYG W, FBT, royalties, and payroll tax across all Australian states
    • Support tax and financial reporting obligations across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States, ensuring alignment with IFRS, AASB, and GAAP
    • Maintain global WorkCover and Payment Times Reporting Scheme compliance
    • Administer and optimise monitoring and automation tools (e.g., FloQast), ensuring strong reconciliation, approval, audit trail, and exception reporting processes
    • Ensure compliance with intercompany transfer pricing frameworks and prepare required documentation
    • Lead the harmonisation of group-wide financial and tax compliance policies across all brands
    About You
    • CPA/CA qualified (or equivalent)
    • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in tax, finance, or compliance roles within a complex organisation
    • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, AASB, and GAAP reporting frameworks
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across brands and external stakeholders
