    Reporting to the COO, the Head of Credit is accountable for the entire credit lifecycle — from strategy and frameworks to portfolio management, underwriting, provisioning, and collections. This role is both strategic and hands-on, shaping credit outcomes in a regulated environment while enabling strong growth ambitions. You’ll engage directly with ExCo, Board Committees, and regulators, while building a high-performing credit team that underpins sustainable expansion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Set and execute credit strategy, policy, and frameworks
    • Oversee portfolio performance, provisioning, and stress testing
    • Lead underwriting standards, QA, and loss optimisation initiatives
    • Partner with Finance, Risk, and Operations to support growth
    • Build and mentor a high-performing, scalable credit function

    About You

    • 10+ years in senior credit risk roles within banking or financial services
    • Proven end-to-end ownership of credit lifecycle and governance
    • Strong Board, ExCo, and regulator engagement experience (APRA/ASIC)
    • Ability to balance growth with prudent risk management
    • Inspirational leader with both strategic vision and operational depth
