Perigon Group is proud to be partnering exclusively with Alpha HPA, an ASX-listed leader in the critical minerals sector, delivering high-purity aluminium products for the battery, semiconductor and other tech growth industries. Headquartered in Brisbane and entering an exciting phase of commercial expansion, Alpha HPA is scaling up its finance function with the creation of a brand-new Head of Finance role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead group statutory and management reporting
• Drive financial planning & analysis (FP&A), forecasting and reporting across the group
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and compliance issues
• Oversee audit management, tax compliance and manage key external relationships
• Develop and implement finance systems, controls, and team capability
• Lead the overall finance team function (including accounts payable / receivable, payroll)

• CA/CPA qualified with deep knowledge of AASB and the Corporations Act
• Proven experience in senior finance roles, ideally in listed or complex group environments
• Demonstrated capability in statutory reporting, FP&A, and technical accounting
• Strong communicator and advisor to senior leadership, board and external stakeholders
• Comfortable leading a team and working in a dynamic, fast-paced business
