    About the Role:

    This 3-6 month contract is suitable for an immediately available Internal Auditor reporting to the Audit Manager. You will evaluate programs and processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability.

    Duties include but are not limited to: 

    • Lead or support audits from planning through to reporting.
    • Evaluate the efficiency, effectiveness, and value-for-money of programs and activities.
    • Prepare high-quality reports and recommendations for senior executives and stakeholders.
    • Mentor and support junior auditors, contributing to a positive team culture.
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders while maintaining independence and objectivity.

    About You: 
    • Experience in internal/external audit, performance audit, evaluation, risk, or advisory.
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and report-writing skills.
    • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting findings.
    • CA/CPA or progress towards (desirable but not essential).
    • Experience leading small teams or projects.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a positive mindset.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general audit software.
