As part of this growth, the Investments team is seeking to appoint an Investment Analyst – Sustainable Investment
to support the ongoing development and integration of sustainability and stewardship activities across asset classes.
The Role
Working with the Manager, Sustainable Investment, and Head of Listed Equities & Sustainable Investment, this newly created position plays a key role in embedding sustainable investment considerations into Brighter Super’s portfolios.
You will assist in the monitoring and research of investment managers, contribute to sustainability and modern slavery reporting, and support the implementation of frameworks and climate-related strategies across the Fund. The role also partners closely with the Investment Risk team and other internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in data, reporting, and governance.
This is a critical and hands-on position supporting the Fund’s long-term investment objectives and its commitment to stewardship.
The Profile
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience in investment management, superannuation, consulting, or Big 4 sustainability/advisory
- Sound understanding of ESG principles, sustainability reporting, and carbon/emissions frameworks
- Strong analytical and data management skills, with proficiency in Excel or financial modelling
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- A collaborative, curious, and purpose-driven mindset with a passion for sustainable investment and continuous improvement
