About the Role
Our client is seeking an IT Operations Lead to manage and run core IT services while uplifting service management maturity. You’ll lead multi-site operations, establish service desk standards and SLAs, and partner with MSPs so the Head of IT can focus on transformation and strategy. You’ll embed robust incident, problem and change practices that support a growing national footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across networks, servers and end-user services, ensuring availability and performance.
- Build and manage a tiered service desk with clear SLAs and a customer-first culture.
- Chair the CAB; manage major incidents, releases and problem management.
- Oversee DR/BCP, audits, compliance and operational reporting to leadership.
- Manage MSPs and vendors; track performance and drive continuous improvement.
- 5+ years leading IT operations/service delivery teams in complex environments.
- ITIL v4 certified with hands-on incident, change and problem management; CAB experience.
- Strong grasp of cybersecurity and compliance (ISO 27001, Essential Eight).
- Technical depth across Azure/AWS, networking and enterprise platforms; MSP collaboration.
- Documentation, reporting and automation mindset (e.g., SQL/Power BI/GitHub).
