We’re seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to step into a float position, providing high-level administrative and legal support across a variety of practice areas including Workers Compensation, Insurance Litigation, Workplace Relations and Wills & Estates. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and is confident navigating different legal teams and workflows.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing multiple calendars, court deadlines and reminders
- Preparing files, legal and court documents, and general correspondence
- Filing court documents online across various jurisdictions
- Maintaining both digital and physical files
- Booking meetings, appointments and coordinating travel
- Typing and collating documents with high attention to detail
- Assisting with billing, time entries and invoice finalisation
- Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally across a few legal disciplines
- Proactive and adaptable with a can-do attitude
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Confident communication skills and a team-focused mindset
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of discretion
