Are you a recently qualified or near-qualified CA or CPA with a solid grounding in management accounting—and ready to step closer to the commercial engine of a business?
This is a newly created opportunity within a high-growth, investment-backed global business for a Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join the team and help drive performance across APAC. You'll be part of a dynamic finance team focused not just on reporting, but on delivering strategic insights that shape key decisions.
You’ll thrive in this role if you're hungry to make a real impact, enjoy solving problems with numbers, and want to work closely with leaders across the business to unlock value and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own month-end reporting for the region, including preparation of journals (accruals, prepayments, etc.), reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Maintain and enhance the budget vs. actual model, ensuring reporting is accurate, insightful, and aligned with strategic targets.
- Analyse performance drivers across revenue, margin, and cost centres, and provide clear commentary to help business leaders understand results.
- Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to understand financial outcomes and support resource allocation, pricing decisions, and growth initiatives.
- Develop and improve dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, or other analytics platforms.
- Contribute to forecasting and reforecasting cycles, working with stakeholders to align projections with evolving business plans.
- Support broader finance improvement initiatives, helping to streamline processes and strengthen financial discipline across the group.
- A degree-qualified accounting professional who is CA or CPA qualified (or near completion).
- Background in management accounting, financial analysis, or FP&A—ideally in a multi-entity or growth-oriented business, or in consulting.
- A natural communicator who can build relationships across teams, challenge constructively, and deliver insights in a clear, commercial way.
- Someone who is eager to grow into a commercial finance career, with a strong foundation in accounting and a keen interest in business performance.
- Shape your finance career in a genuinely commercial, business-facing role.
- Be part of a global business on a fast-growth trajectory, with clear backing and purpose.
- Work with smart, driven colleagues in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Step beyond the back-office and become a valued finance partner to the business.
