Job Description:

Join a high-growth, investment-backed global business in a newly created Management Accountant role. As a key member of the finance team, you will drive the month-end reporting process, analyse performance against budget, and deliver strategic insights to support business decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Month-End Reporting
    • Lead the efficient and timely month-end reporting process, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with the budget.
    • Assist in preparing and processing various journals, including accruals and prepayments, and perform variance analysis across key financial metrics.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data integrity and contribute to reporting on key operational activities.
    • Maintain the actuals vs. budget model and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyse and interpret financial performance, identifying key variances to budget and the underlying operational drivers.
    • Present clear and concise financial insights to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities to align performance with strategic goals.
    • Regularly update and improve reporting templates to streamline processes and ensure clarity for all stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA or CA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a Management Accounting or FP&A role, with a focus on financial analysis and performance reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling software, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with a range of internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
