The Role
This 3-month contract with the view to go permanent will be suitable for an immediately available or soon to be immediately available Management Accountant, who will report directly to the Financial Controller. This role will go permanent dependent on performance
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Partnering with operational and corporate teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions
- Reviewing, collecting, and analysing data for weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting
- Preparing journals, general ledger reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Identifying cost variances, trends, and opportunities, recommending corrective actions
- Assisting auditors and supporting compliance and internal controls
- Driving system and process improvements across operational sites
About You
If you are an experienced Management Accountant looking to take your career to the next level, then this role is for you.
Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance; CA/CPA desirable
- Experience in a management accounting role within a large or multi-site business
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting
- Exposure to ERP systems and reporting tools (SAP, Power BI, or similar advantageous)
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with a proactive and collaborative approach
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams and locations
