Our client is an Australian Retail Group that has seen significant growth due to their investments & acquisitions. With over 1500 employees across the nation, this is a hands-on role for an experienced Payroll professional looking to take the next step in the career.
They are seeking an immediately available, experienced and dynamic Part Time (4 days per week) Payroll professional to join on a 6-month contract. Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be managing your several entities and running end-to-end payroll for all staff within the assigned entities. This role has the potential to go Permanent.
The Role
This 6-month contract
with the possibility of extending / going permanent will be suitable for an immediately available
or soon to be immediately available Payroll Officer, who will report directly to the Payroll Manager.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Process end-to-end Weekly payroll for up to 1500 staff
- Maintaining employee data
- Processing on boarding & terminations
- Managing the administration, calculation, payment and reconciliation of all superannuation contributions & payroll tax
- Process time sheets (fortnightly/monthly pay runs)
- Adhere to Payroll statutory requirements
- Communicating to internal and external stakeholders
- Interpret of EBA and Modern Award
- Streamlining current payroll functions
- Arrange new starters
About You

Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of end-to-end payroll experience
- High volume end to end payroll processing experience
- Multi entity experience
- Intermediate excel skills
- Experience with a large payroll system
- Experience with large, complex payrolls
