A well-established iconic organisation is searching for a Payroll Officer to join their team. This role will be working as part of an established and welcoming payroll team.
As a key member of the Finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for the employees.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end payroll processing on a fortnightly/ monthly basis
- Maintain employee records, including new starters, terminations, and variations.
- Calculating superannuation, leave entitlements, and award interpretation
- Being responsible for leave entitlements and calculating superannuation
- Entering reconciliation of superannuation and payroll tax
- Handle payroll queries promptly and professionally
- Investigating the data feed for time and attendance
- Calculating leave including long service, parental, annual, workers' compensation and sick
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, superannuation, and tax obligations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
