Reporting into the FC of this global business, this interim role is responsible for managing the end to end payroll for the company across ANZ. You will also be required to drive the final stages of Payroll System implementation prior to go live in December.
In a standalone capacity while liaising with an offshore team, you'll drive & oversee payroll processing, reporting, admin, compliance, legislation, payroll accounting and PAYG for circa 1000 employees.
Other duties will include:
- Payroll processing steps in the new system
- Post-manager approval checklist (pre-payroll checks and post-payroll checks)
- Quick entry submission forms (bonuses, comms, etc. – when and how submitted, required forms)
- Submission of PT & Group Exercise payroll (process for submission, extraction from the system, and presentation to Dayforce)
- Checks and balances for fortnightly and monthly pay runs
- Managing late payroll submissions and post-payroll corrections
- Actions required within the system from the Payroll Administrator prior to payroll
- Monthly payroll submission (autopay for monthly team members – what’s required to enable payments)
- Requirements for parallel testing and submissions (including data templates and exceptions)
Finally you'll have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service ethic and preferably experience working in a multi-site sector such as retail or hospitality.
