The Business

Our client – a well-regarded corporate business based in Brisbane – is currently going through a payroll system transition and is seeking an experienced specialist to support the successful delivery and integration of Affinity Payroll.

This is an initial 3-month temporary contract with potential to extend - requiring an Immediate Start. 

The Role

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting the configuration, testing, and implementation of the Affinity Payroll system during a transition phase
• Ensuring end-to-end payroll processes flow correctly and align with internal financial controls
• Working closely with internal stakeholders (Payroll, HR, IT, Finance) to align MSS/ESS workflows and system capabilities
• Troubleshooting issues, refining processes, and advising on best-practice payroll governance
• Assisting with change management, documentation, and potentially training as needed

• Proven end-to-end payroll knowledge in a medium-to-large corporate environment
• Strong Finance & Payroll background  with the ability to understand how payroll impacts broader business reporting and compliance
• Demonstrated experience with Affinity Payroll – this is essential
• Experience in system configuration, testing (UAT), implementation and support
• Solid working knowledge of MSS/ESS within HRIS/Payroll systems
• A hands-on approach, balanced with the ability to advise at a senior level
