The Role:
Demand Planning, Purchasing and Procurement, Shipping.
- Develop and oversee sales and shipment forecasts and models for all available SKU's across various sales channels using the OMP forecasting tool.
- Monitor, manage, and track changes to allocations and requests for the Allocation Team.
- Prepare reports for out-of-stock or low-stock situations and respond with adjustments in the forecast.
- Analyse historical sales data and future forecasts, collaborating cross-functionally to enhance forecast accuracy and demand planning.
- Ensure timely ordering and stock delivery to the warehouse, managing delays, shortages, and communication with the International Supply Chain, Allocation Team, and Freight Forwarder.
- Actively oversee stock aging tracking and the scrapping process.
- Take responsibility for generating Purchase Orders in SAP for relevant local purchases.
- Generate Purchase Orders based on forecast schedules and submit them to HQ through SAP EDI.
- Review Purchase Order availabilities and price variances and keep relevant departments informed.
- Maintain a shipping register for both imports and exports.
- Monitor and follow up on international deliveries with forwarders and suppliers, providing delivery requirements and vessel information to the forwarder.
- Verify the accuracy of all shipment documentation and invoices and approve them when necessary.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and the broader team to coordinate shipment deliveries and timing.
- Periodically review local and international freight costs, including participating in freight tender processes.
- A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in a Planning & Logistics Manager role is required.
- Experience with large multinational organisations is highly desirable.

- Strong knowledge and comprehension of supply chain processes and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) is essential.
- Familiarity with customs procedures, policies, and regulations in Australia is a plus.
- Proficiency in SAP is a fundamental requirement.
- A strong emphasis on attention to detail and robust analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, with a particular focus on Excel.
- Demonstrates independence, motivation, and a driven work ethic.
- Enthusiastic about continuous process improvement and optimization.
