This is an immediate-start contract position focused on identifying potential safety hazards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing actionable strategies to create a safe working environment.

- Immediate start - initial 3 month contract
- Based near Croydon Park - parking on-site
- circa. $60-70 per hour + super
- Conduct thorough safety audits of the new warehouse facility, including layout, equipment, storage systems, and operational workflows
- Identify potential hazards related to material handling, machinery, fire safety, emergency exits, and general working conditions
- Review and assess compliance with relevant OH&S legislation, regulations, and industry standards
- Develop a detailed safety action plan with prioritised recommendations and implementation timelines
- Collaborate with warehouse management and staff to understand operational processes and safety concerns
- Prepare comprehensive written reports documenting findings, risks, and corrective measures
- Provide guidance on safety training requirements for warehouse personnel
- Recommend necessary signage, PPE, and safety equipment
- Ensure proper documentation of all safety procedures and protocols
- Relevant safety qualification (Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent)
- Proven experience in warehouse or logistics safety management is essential
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and standards
- Experience conducting safety audits and risk assessments
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Strong communication skills to engage with staff at all levels
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
- Experience with warehouse relocation or new facility setup
- Knowledge of forklift operations, racking systems, and material handling safety
