  • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality and Risk Officer to join our growing team and help ensure we meet the highest standards of care, compliance, and continuous improvement.

    As Quality and Risk Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our quality, safety, and risk management frameworks. You will work collaboratively across the organization to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, NDIS Practice Standards, and internal policies. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and monitor quality and risk frameworks in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
    • Conduct internal audits, reviews, and assessments to ensure compliance with NDIS and other relevant standards.
    • Identify, assess, and manage organisational risks, including service delivery, and operational risks.
    • Support incident management processes, including reporting, investigation, and follow-up actions.
    • Collaborate with teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance.
    • Maintain accurate and timely records and reports related to quality and risk.
    • Provide training and support to staff on quality, compliance, and risk management processes.
    • Prepare reports and submissions for regulatory bodies and stakeholders as required.
    About You

    • Experience in quality assurance, risk management, or compliance within the disability, healthcare, or community services sector.
    • Strong knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards, Quality and Safeguarding Framework, and relevant legislation.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
    • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and influence across all levels.
    • Commitment to person-centred values, inclusion, and safeguarding the rights of people with disability.
