This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, navigating complex structures and managing detailed, hands-on accounting tasks.
The Opportunity
Joining a well-established finance team, you’ll take ownership of a range of accounting duties while the business completes a significant internal project. You’ll work across multiple entities and support accurate, timely financial outcomes in a highly manual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Costing and cost allocations across multiple business units
- Intercompany and intracompany reconciliations and journals
- Month-end support including balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintaining manual accounting processes during a system-heavy project period
- Supporting ad hoc analysis and clean-up work as required
- Partnering with finance and operational teams to ensure data integrity and smooth BAU processes
- Tertiary degree in Finance or Accounting and ideally CPA/CA
- Proven experience in complex, multi-entity organisation
- Strong costing and intercompany accounting skills
- Comfortable working in manual environments
- Strong Excel skills
- Able to hit the ground running in a contract role
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills
- Immediate start
- Temporary contract until end of March 2026
