Reporting into the Group FC of this large Australian business, this role presents a great opportunity to join this successful business, within a high performance, supportive team environment.
Sitting in group finance, you will be responsible for consolidated financial reporting/stat accounts and provision of technical accounting advice to the wider business. Whilst you'll have exposure to a number of ad hoc projects and initiatives.
You are a CA (or CPA) qualified Accountant making a 2nd move from a Big 4 or mid tier chartered firm - with experience in a financial accountant role (ideally group/corporate level). Or otherwise with a background in a similar role, within another large corporate environment.
You'll also have very well developed Excel skills, in-depth knowledge of accounting standards (including IFRS and financial instruments such as hedging, derivatives etc) and excellent communication skills.
