Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role across the finance function - spanning accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, reporting, and team supervision.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing supplier invoicing, reconciliations, and payment runs
- Managing debtor invoicing, receipting, and collections
- Performing AP/AR, bank, and intercompany reconciliations
- Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments, and supporting BAS/IAS lodgements
- Assisting with month-end close and internal reporting
- Supervising and mentoring accounts staff and ensuring deadlines are met
- Identifying and implementing process and system improvements
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar, hands-on accounts role
- Strong understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end processes
- Experience providing guidance or supervision to others
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with MYOB
