Our client is a very well-regarded organisation, who offer a range of critical community support services, and work hard to make a difference in times of need. They require a dynamic and skilled Senoir Billings Officer to join their team for a temporary basis with the potential to extend or go permanent in the future, immediate start required.
The Role
This 6
-month contract
will be suitable for an immediately available
or soon to be immediately available Senior Billings Officer, who will report directly to the Billings Leader. This role has the potential to be extended.
As the Senior Billings Officer your duties will include -
- Oversee end-to-end billing processes, ensuring accurate invoicing, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance with financial policies and legislation.
- Liaise with internal teams and external parties to resolve billing discrepancies and support audits.
- Lead process improvements, maintain financial records, and provide training and guidance to junior billing staff.
- Perform daily banking, data entry across systems, and support month-end and year-end finance tasks.
- Requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, experience in billing systems, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
About You
- 1-2 years' experience within a commercial business.
- Experience using large systems.
- Intermediate experience with Excel
- Eager to learn.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
