A prominent investment firm is seeking a skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join its rapidly growing team. This role is a 3 month contract with strong potential for extension or going permanent due to recent expansion. The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the fund accounting team, responsible for delivering investment accounting services and managing operational tax reporting for the firm’s investment funds. You will ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, with responsibilities that include:

• Maintaining accurate financial records across journals and ledgers
• Completing reconciliations, responding to ad hoc requests, and addressing queries
• Preparing monthly financial accounts and reconciliations accurately and on time
• Compiling supporting documentation for audits and reviews
• Coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors to provide necessary information
• Submitting reconciliations and reports to regulatory bodies as required
• Assisting with fund distribution calculations for investors and beneficiaries
• Preparing and responding to client statements, requests, and queries
• Managing and overseeing reports and external providers of outsourced investment accounting services
